We have been learning about the plant parts (roots, stem, leaves, and flower), and what each one does for the plant. For our plants to be healthy, they need plenty of water and sunlight. We have been learning about measuring volume using the American Standard system. We discussed everything from ounces to gallons, and then we each got to put a cup of water on our radishes and squash. If we have 44 students, how many quarts of water is that?
